Summary: The hotel was beautiful and staff nice but we were out in a room that must have been above the speakers in a ballroom with either a bar mitzvah or wedding going on until after midnight. We could even tell What song they were playing! Beds are ok but not the most comfy. The common spaces are quite lovely. I am sure it would be a fabulous stay if you ask for a room not above ballroom!

Summary: I had a single room which was clean and comfy. The bed was wonderful and I slept like a baby. Bathroom was new and clean. Love the basin atop the vanity. Cuddled into the housecoat provided and lounged like a queen! Very enjoyable.

Summary: Great hotel! Highly recommend for the service, unique building and convenient location in Winnipeg. Self-parking was a little confusing to find as the entrance to the lot was on the side of the hotel but otherwise was good.

Summary: Check in (Lydia) was so kind and helpful. Bar service was outstanding. Maintenance (Manny and Sergio) helped me with a wee problem. The whole experience was amazing.

Summary: Great stay! We enjoyed our one night at this hotel, we received excellent service from the staff who checked us in as well as from our server at the breakfast restaurant, both very attentive and professional. Our room was comfortable as well.

Summary: Beautiful lobby with a gorgeous lobby, bar and restaurant. Excellent location in downtown Winnipeg. When you pull up to the front doors, you definitely feel like it’s a step back in time, and a step towards a classier level of hotel stay.

Summary: Comfy beds. Italian restaurant had exquisite food. The breakfast at the oval room was tasty. The spa is amazing.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful stay here. It's a historic hotel and if you adjust for that expectation, it is a fantastic property. We had a king standard and the only thing was the bathroom was small with no counter space, but it's a modern retrofit to a 100+ year old building. 10/10 for cleanliness and the staff went above and beyond with service. The Oval Room food was really good (breakfast and dinner!) and the best service we've had in months. Valet parking was available for a very small fee and totally worth it (we have an F150 they were able to accommodate).
